What’s better than dragons? SMALLER dragons, that walk on two legs, and steal things! If you agree with the previous statement, you’re going to love March’s free one-page RPG: Kobold Endeavour.

KOBOLD ENDEAVOUR

You are a kobold, a scrawny dragonling whelp, and you have been tasked by the capricious and cruel MIGHTY DRAGON KING to sneak into a rival dragon’s hoard and steal as much loot as you possibly can in order to win favour.

Problem is, you’re terrible at everything - except creating distractions. Can you stack up enough distractions to get in, get the treasure, and get out alive? Probably not.

ROYAL BLOOD IN PRINT

Maz visited Belmont, the company that we use to print our products, to take a look at how things work behind the scenes. They learned a great deal about paper, but also got to take a peek at the raw sheets for ROYAL BLOOD, our 2016 game of junk magic and supernatural heists powered by the tarot. It’s not existed in physical form before now, which is exciting! We’ll let you know when it’s ready to order so you can pick up your very own copy of this slick vaporwave heist adventure.

STRATA.

We’re happy to announce that Strata is coming closer to completion every day, and we’re well on the way to fulfilling the Kickstarter. We’ve received the art prints (which are lovely) and sample files for the companion newspaper, The Spiral Muse; the files for all the supplemental scenarios and sourcebooks are currently with the printer; and layout on Strata itself continues apace. We’ll be sure to keep you abreast of things as and when they happen.

GENCON

Oh yeah, we’re going to Gencon! We’re all faintly terrified, but here we are. Or rather, there we will be, this summer. If you’re at Gencon and you’d like to a) say hello b) buy us a beer or c) invite us to one of the sexy and exciting back-room parties that we’re sure happen at Gencon, then please get in touch. OUR BIG SECRET PROJECT.

Hey! Down here, at the bottom of the email! Grant and Chris haven’t been sitting on their laurels since they finished Strata; they’ve been working on their next game, and by all accounts it looks to be bigger than Spire. It uses the Resistance system, it’s set in the same universe as Spire, and it’s tremendously exciting. We’re hoping to unveil it properly at Gencon, but we want you - our community - to be involved every step of the way. Once we’ve got Strata out of the door and everyone has their books, we’ll clue you in properly as to our next steps, and how you can help us make better and more impactful games.

(Oh, also, we’re not abandoning Spire. We have plans for that too.)
