Technically February Email Update

Yes, it's March.

But this is actually the February newsletter. This is because of reasons. Reasons such as:

SPIRE is out now in digital form

We released Spire as a PDF! Spire is our biggest, fanciest game to date, coming in at 220 pages jam-packed with rules and background focusing around a brutal dark elf rebellion in a high elf-controlled city. If you’re interested in joining the resistance, you can learn more here.

No More Room In Hell

February’s one-page game is No More Room In Hell, a game that has either no GM or four GMs, depending on how you look at it. It’s designed to tell stories of loss and desperation in a world where you’re outnumbered and on your last legs - zombie apocalypses, fleeing an enemy invasion, evading the secret police, and so on. You can download it here.

HDF Episode 50

Hearty Dice Friends, the podcast featuring Grant and Chris, has been going for over a year now! We held our 50th episode recording in a sold-out Carnegie Hall show - a thing which definitely happened, and isn’t just special effects patched in after the fact. 100%. We even interview Sean Connery and David Bowie, and the last one is really impressive on account of him dying two years ago. Listen to it here.

One-pagers now on sale!

Grant has written a one-page roleplaying game every month for the last year and a half, nearly, and we’re proud to announce that you can now buy all of them in physical form (hand-signed, printed on nice thick paper) along with the mysterious and secret BACK PAGES which contain extra content, hacks, and even entire never-released-online games. You can pick up the one-pagers here.

That’s all! Please buy Spire! We’re really proud of it!
