Rollerblades and pre-orders

Happy September

Last month saw us finish the Kickstarter for Spire, so we've been doing our best to handle the aftermath of that and dial down from full-on promotion mode into quietly making the thing happen. We're nearly finished with the final unproofed draft of the core text, and we've written the entirely of the Black Magic sourcebook too. However, NEWS:

August's free 1-page game is HACK THE PLANET!

YOU are a hip 90's console cowboy or cowgirl, and you're in trouble with the authorities. Can you get what you want, and not wind up in prison? Contains full technobabble rules and mandatory rollerblades.

And on Reddit, someone has kindly converted the game into a set of Gibson-themed PDFs. If you want to support Grant's work directly, you can do so by subscribing to Secrets here.

Pre-order Spire here

If you like the sound of overthrowing a mile-high city ruled by cruel and alien high elves, then you should pre-order Spire via our Backerkit page. If you've already backed us, you can go here to log in to your account and make sure you've got your pledge right. You can also get A2 copies of the city map, luxury editions of the book, and digital upgrades which will give you access to a surprisingly wide array of stretch goal PDFs and bespoke ambient music tracks.

Hearty Dice Friends continues apace

Our RPG advice podcast, Hearty Dice Friends, has recently hits its thirtieth episode - which isn't a big deal when you realise how long other podcasts have been going, but it feels pretty special to us! We're hosting monthly hangouts for patrons in our Discord channel, where we run online scavenger hunts for hand-drawn and exclusive (if not terribly valuable) prizes. You can back our podcast Patreon here.

That's all for this month. See you soon!
