Kept you waiting, huh?
We know what it’s like. 1st of the month rolls around and you’re sat there in your pants endlessly refreshing your inbox, impatiently waiting for your monthly dose of news from the good folks at Rowan, Rook and Decard.
“Where’s my email?” You scream, half-eaten chips flying out of your mouth. “I need a free game NOW!” You slam your hands on the desk like a toddler and kick your feet about in anguish. Well: we’re sorry. You should know by now that we don’t send these out until the end of the month because that’s when Grant uploads the monthly game, so. Unless you got one of those new-fangled time Deloreans, looks like you’re going to have to keep waiting.
Anyway.
HIMBO TREASURE HUNT
Grant’s written another collaborative game - this time with the Internet’s very own Sasha Sienna, one-half of MacGuffin and Co. and one half of the creators on HIMBO TREASURE HUNT, a game where you - a big muscular nice but maybe not traditionally “intelligent” person - attempt to solve an ancient mystery that goes all the way back to 1973. It’s very silly, which is par for the course with one-pagers, isn’t it? Maybe next month we’ll get something utterly heartbreaking. Who knows. (Me. I know. We won’t.)
GENCON 2021: WE’RE NOT THERE
Indianapolis is very far away and, apparently, we still can’t travel to the US without a convoluted two-week quarantine in Mexico thanks to the global pandemic that remains ongoing - so for this reason and more besides, we won’t be there.
BUT we will be running games online (Spire and Voidheart Symphony, which is nice) and if YOU aren’t at GenCon but want to replicate the process you can use the code GENCON2021 at checkout on the RRD store - during the GenCon weekend, mind - you’ll get free shipping! Just like putting the books directly in your bag, but without the faff of having to lug them around all day. It’s WIN WIN.
We’ll also be putting up a couple of Heartsblood editions of Heart for sale, which is very exciting, because each and every one of them is unique, leather-bound, hand-sewn, over-the-top gorgeous and now YOU could own one. Here’s a picture of one:

BIG SIN UPDATE
We’ve been hard at work on Sin, our big sourcebook for Spire and all of its associated parasitic entities (maps, additional little sourcebooks, etc) - you can learn all about it and see loads of nice art from Adrian Stone and Rowan MacColl in our most recent update here.
If you like the look of it, why not pre-order a copy? Why not pre-order TEN copies? We’ll tell you why - that would be silly, and you spent most of your disposable income on those chips we referenced in the intro. So just pre-order the one copy, that’s much more sensible. We’re glad we could help.
