Heart, The Witch House and TTGL, oh my!
It's the September email!
We know what you're thinking: they didn't have an August email! Well: yes. But in other news, we've been busy. BUSY WITH:
The Heart Kickstarter!
You can back our game of body horror, exploration, madness, predatory libraries and stairs made out of meat on Kickstarter. (All backers get access to the Quickstart rules, too, so you can play the game right away if you'd like.) For more details, click here.
The Witch House
This month's one-page RPG is a frankly unpleasant game about losing control of your innate humanity after a witch stole you away from your family and transformed you into an obedient pet. (Or - so she thinks.) Can you murder her before you lose the frantic spark of personhood in your soul?
Download The Witch House as a pay-what-you-want file here.
Tabletop Gaming Live
We're going to attend Tabletop Gaming Live in Crystal Palace with the UK Indie RPG League - it takes place on the 28th and 29th of September. We won't have a full stock on hand, but if you'd like to pick up a copy of Spire or Goblin Quest - or want to take a look at the fine games on offer from Black Armada, UFO Press or Certain Death games - then swing by the stall. Or just come and say hello! We'd love to have a chat.
We're also on a panel - Roleplaying 101 - on Saturday at 2:30 - with the rest of the League, chatting about making your first tentative steps into the world of RPGs. If you've subscribed to a newsletter from an indie RPG design studio, odds are you don't need the help - but we promise to tell a couple of jokes too.
That's all for this month. Please excuse us while we look at the Kickstarter total fluctuate and attempt to sleep.
