Dead Channel and Dragonmeet

Dead Channel and Dragonmeet

Welcome, brave adventurer...

...to the Rowan, Rook and Decard mostly-monthly update. We're sorry it's been more than a month since we last wrote to you, but on the good side we do have some interesting things to tell you about. Such as...

Dead Channel

October's free monthly one-page game is DEAD CHANNEL, a game of straight-to-video horror. It uses an injury system that Grant cribbed from a much larger game that he wrote but never finished.
If you’d like to have a spooky experience this November, you can grab it for free here.

Critical Role

Last week on Critical Role, Marisha Ray took the DM's chair to lead a Honey Heist one-shot. You can watch the video and read all about it here...

Free Honey for patrons

And if you want to get your hands on a hard copy of Honey Heist, Grant will be giving one away to all physical reward Patreon backers next month. Get in.

TRASHKIN

November's one-page game will be TRASHKIN, a game of kinda rubbish fantasy races doing kinda rubbish stuff. Grant has also included two different schools of magic, for reasons that remain unclear.

Spire Updates

Development on Spire progresses apace, and pre-orders are still open for now. Proof-reading is almost done, and in our next email we hope to be able to show you the final text design. We’re excited to offer fully- (some might say obsessively-) detailed maps for both the upper part of the city and the Underspire, both drawn by Tim Wilkinson Lewis’ mad hand.

Dragonmeet!

We’re going to be at Dragonmeet in London on 2nd December, and if you find us and mention this email then Grant will give you a free signed copy of one of his one-pager RPGs, mainly because he’s awkward and wants an excuse to talk to people.

That's all, folks! Thanks for hanging out with us. If there's anything you'd like to see in this email, or questions we can answer, hit the reply button and let us know. See you soon,

  • Chris, Grant and Maz
