Can you earn enough gas money to escape your pursuers despite the fact that you're a poorly-disguised combat android?
yes hello it’s the May 2021 email
Eagle-eyed readers will note that it’s no longer May, which you’d think would pose problems for someone writing the May newsletter. But this isn’t my first rodeo; I’m a veteran when it comes to this sort of thing. Why, just look: I’ve already written the intro paragraph. Piece of cake.
SIN BACKERKIT IS LIVE
Did you miss out on the Kickstarter for Sin, our upcoming sourcebook for the Spire RPG which combines, crime, order and religion in one delicious package? I can’t imagine why you did. We certainly bloody told you about it enough. Anyway, no need to be embarrassed - you can simply come along to our Backerkit and put in your pre-order. Then sit perfectly still for four months while we finish the book, print it, etc.
UNCANNY RALLY IS OUT
Grant, referring to himself here in the third person as the tissue-thin corporate mask continues to peel away, collaborated with Chris McDowall (Into the Odd, Electric Bastionland, GRIMLITE) on a one-page game. Over the next year Grant will work with a different designer each month, and he’s already broken the rules by making UNCANNY RALLY into a two-page game, so god knows where he’ll be this time next year. Three pages? Four? NONE? The mind boggles.
Uncanny Rally is a madcap slapstick comedy game combined with a conversational version of Blind Man’s Bluff; can you, as a poorly-disguised military android, blend into human society for long enough to earn gas money without anyone realising that you could quick easily take out half a city block when distressed, surprised, or you say the wrong thing? Find out!
Right that’s everything, nothing more to see here, go on about your day folks
